The Calla Lily is an exotic, sophisticated plant. It produces blooms that are quite unlike any other flower with a bright trumpet at the end of the stem with a graceful twist and pointed tip.
The flowers can be white, pink, yellow or black. Calla Lilies grow very well indoors with little care and routine maintenance.
Care Instructions
Temperature:
They originate from a tropical climate so thrive in warm temperatures.
Light:
Place in a bright location in your home. They prefer direct sunlight.
Water:
The Calla Lily is considered an aquatic plant so likes water. Keep the soil constantly moist and do not let it dry out in between watering.
Feeding:
Feed your Calla Lily once every 3 weeks.
Helpful Hints:
Once your Calla has bloomed and the bloom has withered, dead head the plant by snipping off the dead flower heads. This will keep it healthy and encourage new flowers to grow. Replant your Calla Lily in new soil every year to ensure the plant stays happy and healthy.
