Producing around 1 million plants a year we are the UK’s largest producers of Mini Phalaenopsis Orchids (9cm). We began developing this product with our Taiwanese partner in 2003 and have been gradually evolving our breeding programme to develop new varieties as well as perfecting the growing environment in order to deliver the best quality mini phalaenopsis in Europe.
Our ongoing development of the mini orchid market has meant that we are now able to produce a much higher quality product with a greater access to new varieties than any other producer. Mini orchids are available all year round.
Care Instructions
Temperature:
Minimum temperature at night is 16-18 °C, while the average daytime temperature should be around 24-30 °F. Occasional deviations will not harm your plant.
Light:
Phalaenopsis will flourish indoors under normal lighting conditions. Do not place in Direct Sunlight.
Water:
Be cautious of over-watering. Watering once a week is sufficient to keep your plant healthy and happy. Do not let it sit in water.
Feeding:
Feed your plant once a month. Be careful not to overdo it.
Helpful Hints:
When the last flower drops, cut your flower spike halfway down the stem, just above the third node. Continue caring for it and wait for a possible re-bloom.
